Weather in South Tyrol

Sun and clouds will alternate, with the thickest clouds passing through in the evening. During the night widespread rain as the front passes through, with the snow line dropping towards 2000 m.

The Alps will be affected by westerly currents with a cold front reaching the region in the night.
The day will be partly cloudy with occasional sunshine. In the evening, rain will set in from the northwest. During the night, widespread precipitation is expected, with the snow line dropping to around 2000 m, locally lower along the main Alpine ridge.

A strong northwesterly upper-level flow is determining our weather. In South Tyrol, conditions are more favorable in the lee of the Alps.
A strong northerly wind will break up the clouds, and towards the south fairly sunny weather will set in. Along the main Alpine ridge it will remain changeably cloudy with a few snow showers.

On Monday there will still be some clouds and partly strong northerly winds in the north, towards the south more sunshine. In the night to Tuesday some rain on the border to Austria. It will be unsettled in the north also on Tuesday, partly sunny in the south. On Wednesday, the weather will improve everywhere and the sun will appear much more frequently. The forecast for Thursday is still uncertain. Clouds are expected to increase with only a little sunshine.
